Jamie Easterly currently works as a Life Enrichment Assistant for a Senior Living Community, and is a doTERRA Wellness Advocate. Prior to employment with the community, she was a stay-at-home mom to three children. Jocelyn, the oldest, is the inspiration for Jade the Friendly Frog. Angelica, the youngest daughter, is the inspiration for Hope the Sweet Little Turtle, and Xander the youngest, is the inspiration for Alexander the Mighty Elephant. With the love and support of her husband, Rich, she was able to stay home to raise their children and have the time and opportunity to create their stories.

These stories were created out of a desire to tell her children stories. When they were younger, Jocelyn and Angel, (Xander was still a baby), would always ask for Jamie to TELL them stories, not read them. Falling back on the standard princess stories felt flat to her, so she decided to create a story about each of them.

She would spend her free time crafting these stories about each of her children, making sure that they all intertwined and brought her children together in the end. She wanted these stories to spark their imaginations and excite them, but also educate them.

Once the stories were finished, she began the illustrations. She completed the books and had a single hard copy of each book made. On Chritmas morning they all opened their presesnts and were so excited to see they each had a story, written by Mom, about them and made into a book they would be able to read for years to come and share with their own children someday.
